  25. Bzzt, no. SPEC was not designed to test IO performance, and hard disk
  26. access is IO. Granted, this affected SPEC92, because some of the data
  27. sets were so large that some tested platforms had to resort to virtual
  28. memory. That is why SPEC95 requires that the test machine has at least
  29. 64MB memory, so that the system would not page.
